Program Support

What do I do if I get homesick?๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

This is totally normal and we are here to support you along the way! Itโ€™s important you reach out to your program leader to tell them how you are feeling. We find that the best way to overcome this feeling is to immerse yourself into the new and exciting lifestyle, to take your mind off things. On the flip side, itโ€™s also nice to find some creature comforts in your new home – this may be the Aussie version of your favorite activities and hobbies. We can help you with local knowledge to settle you in.

What If I am unhappy with anything? โค๏ธ

Communication is absolutely key! Your program leader will work with you to help support you to overcome any challenges.

The Recreation industry runs 7 days a week, so your shifts will be allocated between Monday – Sunday. Please note, we will allocate you 2 days off per week, to ensure you have time to explore Australia.

Can I work extra hours?ย ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Yes! In our work readiness workshop you will learn how to use our user friendly rostering system, allowing you to see your shifts, take extra shifts and update your availability as you go.

Can my UK qualifications be transferred?๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

For the above qualifications (skill sets), you will need to complete your training to align with Australian standards. For those that have completed qualifications, such as Personal Training, these certificates may be transferred across on a case by case basis.

Who will deliver my training? ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซ

The BlueFit Group has a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) called Southern Education that will deliver all courses. The best thing about this, is that you will have trainers who have many years of experience in the industry and BlueFit, teaching you the BlueFit way.

Bluefit and Beyond

How do I continue with BlueFitโ€™s accommodation? ๐Ÿ

If you choose to stay and work with BlueFit you can opt where youโ€™d like to continue to secure a space within our accommodation and therefore continue to have repayments deducted from your pay. Program allocations will work within the quarterly schedule, so you need to give notice if you are choosing to stay until the next program intake. We will guide the deadlines for this process, to ensure we have enough time to plan.
